There are lots of fad diets and crazy workouts out there in order to help you look and feel great, but if you really want to burn the fat and learn how to build muscle fast, absolutely nothing will do it faster than working your muscles to fatigue. There it is, up front and in your face information. If it isn’t what you wanted to hear, perhaps it is what you needed to hear. You can try loading on the weights at the gym, using your own body weight, or even muscles confusion but the bottom line is, it doesn’t matter what type of workout you use as long as you do it often, allow your muscles to recover form the intense workout you put your body through and then do it all over again.

Have you ever wondered why guys in prison look so ripped? They certainly aren’t eating high-quality, organic foods in a jail cell or loading up on designer proteins. They are doing one of the only activities that they have access to, and since there is extra incentive to work hard and get big (in order to show who is boss on a cell block) they do it without fail. It doesn’t mean you have to be a prisoner in order to learn how to build muscle fast that most other alpha males would swoon over. You can do it with the same discipline that prison inmates end up developing – even if it is a forced discipline that helps them to arrive at a strong and fit physique.

In order to learn how to build muscle fast and keep it on, there are some basic principles you need to follow

  • Don’t worry about how much protein you are eating. Prison inmates get three squares a day and they aren’t ‘high-quality, lean protein meals’. Concentrate on fueling your body with the best of what you’ve got available and forget the rest. Diet is important, but not as important as training.
  • Do the standards – push-ups, sit-ups, chin-ups, jumping jacks. Use your own body weight and increase the reps as your able. If you really want to add challenge, try to do one arm push ups or tell someone to sit on you while you do push ups. Trust me, they’ll be challenging enough. Do squats and dead lifts.
  • Warm up so you don’t injure yourself.
  • If you have a bad day, workout. If you have a good day, workout.

Follow these simple techniques and watch your muscles blow up.
